  • Situational Analysis

We were approached by our client, following a major reorganisation, to help foster and embed a sense of belonging in a large organisation. The objective was to encourage a culture where the opportunity to give and take feedback became a key part of the company culture. Our client recognised the importance of creating a safe environment to provide feedback and investing in employee’s development, “everyone can grow, learn, and build on success. To ensure this success we need to develop a culture of providing feedback, and using a “strengths based approach” to deliver this feedback.”
  • Task

Design a bespoke programme for 130 delegates to help colleagues at all levels and functions learn more about their own strengths, and discover and harness their true talents. We were also tasked to create a sense of belonging amongst teams and how they can better give and receive feedback. Finally, to create a safe space to discuss personal development and to feel part of the wider organisation.
  • Action

Using Gallup’s strengths profiling, we developed a programme creating a feedback culture, using the strengths approach to maximise learning, creating the right experiences to forge a feedback culture and sustain behavioural change. We delivered the first part of the programme through a mix of virtual workshop training sessions, virtual action learning groups, and coaching sessions, with microlearning interventions in between.
  • Result

Our personalised programme achieved our client's objectives whilst driving sustainable behavioural change. Our delegates also rated the value of our sessions 4.5/5. “What will happen when we think about what is right with people rather than fixating on what is wrong with them?” - Strengths Founder, Donald O. Clifton
"It was one of the best (if not the best!) training I have ever participated in… I’m implementing the learnings and already seeing positive results."
